Terra Breads was founded in Vancouver in 1993. This award-winning artisan bakery specializes in slow-rise fermented breads, freshly-baked granola and pastries. With a focus on culinary techniques and quality ingredients, their creations have delighted Vancouver’s residents for decades.
When Federated Co-operatives Limited Store Brands Manager, Sav Bellissimo, first tried Terra Bread’s granola he was very excited to bring it to Co-op customers.
“We had a sample of their granola and just loved it. We worked with them to develop the product under our Co-op Gold Pure brand,” said Bellisimo, noting that it was one of the first Co-op Gold Pure items available in Co-op Food Stores. “For us, the product and the company perfectly fits our vision of the brand.”
All spices used in Co-op Gold Pure Granola are hand-blended, nuts are home-toasted, and even the coconut pieces are roasted in-house. The result is a blend of delicious, chewy clusters mixed with oats and seeds that contain no added sugars or preservatives.
