Relishing Fresh Flavours

It's about that time of year that we all start getting excited about warmer weather, barbecues and all the joys of eating al-fresco.

If you’re daydreaming about backyard barbecues, make sure your menu includes dill-icious CO-OP GOLD PURE® Pickles and Relishes!

These pickles are a true farm-to-fork product. Featuring all locally grown cucumbers, dill and garlic, these pickles taste closer to homemade pickles than anything you normally find in a supermarket.

Production with Purpose

In 2019, Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) contributed $500,000 to a major expansion project at the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre Inc. (Food Centre) in Saskatoon. The Food Centre’s expansion, estimated at $7.5 million, included new canning equipment that the centre is using to bring more locally grown products to Co-op customers.

Co-op Gold Pure Pickles and Relish were some of the first products to come off the canning line as part of a collaboration between FCL, the Prairie Fresh Food Corporation and The Cucumber Man. Since most pickles currently come from the United States or India, this initiative represents a great step forward in bringing Prairie-produced products to consumers in a way that only Co-op can.

Co-op is proud to continue our long-term collaboration with the Prairie Fresh Food Corporation and The Cucumber Man. Our Co-op Gold Pure Pickles and Relish are not simply transactional, but also represent a long and fruitful commitment to great food, top-of-the-vine flavour and community growth.

Take Your Pick(le)

Co-op Gold Pure Pickles and Relishes might not have the mileage of other pickles on the shelf, but they certainly pack a punch. Canadian-grown and Canadian-made, they truly are the pick(le) of the bunch.
