MacKay takes up TV challenge

When you’ve been running three restaurants and working with with Western Canadian food stores, an internationally televised chef competition may seem like a vacation.

Co-op is excited to watch Saskatoon chef Dale MacKay compete in the new season of Food Network Canada’s Iron Chef Gauntlet. MacKay is one of two Canadians competing in weekly elimination challenges, where the last chef standing faces a gauntlet of three Iron Chefs.

MacKay won the first season of Top Chef Canada in 2011. He has worked exclusively with Co-op on developing delicious recipes and culinary advice for this website since 2014.
