Cook Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4

  • Place chicken with ginger, garlic, soya sauce and sesame oil in a bowl and mix well. Marinate for two hours in the fridge.
  • Mix all sauce ingredients with a whisk and set aside for later.
  • Once the chicken has marinated, place a large frying pan on medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Allow to heat up. Add chicken without overlapping so all pieces can brown. Flip chicken after two minutes and cook other side.
  • Next, add broccoli and onions to pan and sauté for three to four minutes. Turn heat down to low and add sauce. Allow to simmer with a lid on for five to eight minutes. Add more milk if sauce is too thick. Serve over steamed rice and garnish with toasted peanuts.
