In a medium-sized saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients and simmer for about five minutes. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Add to sauce and whisk well for about one minute. The sauce will thicken as it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and set aside.
Season wings with salt and pepper and place on grill at medium to high heat. Cook for approximately six – eight minutes or until cooked through with an internal temperature of 74° C (165° F). Try to get some good char marks for flavour. Place cooked wings in a large bowl; add cilantro, cashews and sauce to your liking. Toss well and serve while hot. Serves two.
