Ingredients

3   cups powdered sugar
¾   cup CO-OP GOLD Cocoa Powder
½   cup CO-OP CENTSBILES Butter, softened
1   cup CO-OP GOLD Cream Cheese, room temperature
1   tsp CO-OP GOLD Vanilla Extract
½   cup crushed candy cane

Directions

Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes

  • Put powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a ZIPLOC Large Freezer Bag. Add butter, cream cheese and vanilla extract. Seal bag, trying to remove most of the air.
  • Now, just squeeze, smash and roll around the ingredients in the bag. Mix until its all the same dark colour and completely combined.
  • Using your hand or a rolling pin, spread the mix evenly and flat inside of the bag. Lay it flat in the freezer to completely set. When fully frozen, carefully cut the bag open down the sides, then cut the fudge into desired cubes or strips.
  • Sprinkle crushed candy cane over the cut fudge. Keep refrigerated before serving.

Note: If kids are making it, rather than cutting the fudge into portions, have them use their hands to make balls of fudge and roll them in the crushed candy cane.

Hint: To easily crush candy canes, place them in a different Ziploc bag and smash them into a chunky dust.
