Ingredients
| 1½ | tbsp vegetable oil | |
| 3 | cups onion, finely diced | |
| ½ | cup PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese | |
| ½ | cup HELLMAN’S Real Mayonnaise | |
| ¼ | cup CO-OP GOLD Sour Cream | |
| ¼ | tsp garlic powder | |
| ¼ | tsp onion powder | |
| ¼ | tsp salt | |
| ¼ | tsp black pepper | |
| ¼ | tsp lemon zest | |
| ¼ | cup green onions, finely sliced | |
| ¼ | tsp fresh thyme, minced |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Toss oil and onions together in a bowl. Place on a baking tray and cover tightly with foil. Put in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil, stir onions, and replace foil on top of the onions. Bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Transfer the onions to a mixing bowl and let them cool.
- Add all other ingredients. Mix well with a wooden spoon or with a paddle attachment if using a stand mixer.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, cover and let cool in the fridge until ready to serve with your favourite CO-OP chips.
