Ingredients
| 1 ½ | pounds flank steak | |
| 3 | tablespoons hoisin sauce | |
| ¼ | cup soy sauce | |
| 2 | tablespoons sherry vinegar | |
| 2 | green onions, finely chopped | |
| 2 | cloves garlic, minced | |
| 1 | teaspoon chili flakes | |
| 1 | tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped | |
| bamboo skewers |
Directions
In a large bowl, combine hoisin, soy sauce, sherry vinegar, green onion, garlic, chili flakes and ginger. Cut the steak into ¼-inch slices across the grain on a bias. Place the beef into large freezer bags with the marinade, seal, and shake to mix well. Marinate for a minimum of two hours or overnight. Preheat grill to high heat. Thread the beef onto skewers, and grill for three to four minutes on each side to achieve an even, medium doneness.
