Ingredients

| 1 ½ | Tbsp vegetable oil | |
| 1 ½ | cup onion, finely diced | |
| 450 | g (1 lb) CO-OP Ground Beef | |
| ½ | Tbsp minced garlic | |
| 1 | Tbsp smoked paprika | |
| 1 | Tbsp chili powder | |
| 1 | tsp tabasco sauce | |
| 1 | can (398 mL) CO-OP GOLD Beans in Tomato Sauce | |
| 1 | cup water | |
| Hot dogs and buns | ||
| 1 | In-Store Baked Hot Dog Buns | |
| 12 | HARVEST All Beef Wieners | |
| 1 | cup nacho cheese dip | |
| 1 | cup shredded iceberg lettuce | |
| ⅔ | cup CO-OP GOLD Hot Pepper Rings | |
| 1 | cup hickory sticks | |
Directions
Serves: 12
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
To make the chili
- Place a medium size pot on medium-high heat. Add oil and allow to heat. Add ground beef and brown.
- Add onions and garlic. Cook 2 minutes. Then add chili powder and paprika. Cook another minute.
- Add beans, tabasco and water. Turn heat down to low and simmer about 15 minutes, until the liquid has been reduced and it’s thick. Keep warm.
To make the hot dogs and buns
- Pre-heat grill to medium. Grill hot dogs until good char marks develop on all sides.
- Place buns on top rack and lightly toast them.
- To assemble, place a dog in each bun. Garnish each with cheese, chili, lettuce, hot peppers and hickory sticks, dividing evenly among the hot dogs. Serve immediately.
