Enjoy two decadent and delicious cookies sandwiching the smooth and creamy vanilla ice cream filling of Co-op Gold Ice Cream Sandwiches. The treats are made together with Terra Cotta Foods in Georgetown, Ont., which began in 1984 supplying cookies to Ontario schools.
There’s nothing cookie cutter about these ice cream sandwiches either. They’re produced in a nut-free facility and assembled by hand. The ice cream is made from 100 per cent Canadian milk and sourced from a nearby dairy.
“Our cookies are very artisanal,” said CEO Jason Brass. “We’re passionate about making products that people are going to love.”
The ice cream sandwiches are available in three cookie varieties: rainbow, chocolate chip and fudge. Even though they’re frozen, the cookies remain nice and soft for the perfect bite.
