Meet our charcuterie meat

When you combine authentic Italian recipes with the superior quality of Western Canadian pork, something wonderful happens.


Co-op Gold Charcuterie Meats are produced by Soleterra d’Italia, based in Acme, Alberta. The company came to be when two family-run businesses, which had been perfecting their products for generations, partnered in 2016.

Today, Soleterra uses the Simonini founding family’s Italian recipes, with high quality pork from the Price family-owned Sunterra Farms. Most of the cooked and cured Italian meats are produced in Canada, while other products, such as prosciutto and coppa, are imported from Italy.

Perfect for entertaining, there are six varieties of salami sticks to choose from, including Toscano, Calabrese and Chorizo. And in our charcuterie packs, there’s enough versatility to include them in everything from pizza to pasta and of course, on a charcuterie board.
